Good quality, very bright. Can be bought cheaper
Very happy with the lights. Work great as described. I ordered very similar lights off eBay for 1/2 the price of these. Almost identical and just as bright. Either way, happy with the purchase. Do recommend

Bullet LED PAIR - Tiny High Output Landing/Strobe Lights or LED Lights
Installed in my main gear fairings and they work like a charm.

I don't know how far it can be seen during the day.
I installed three leds on each wing tip to face forward , back and sidewards. using the controler , No problems.

Let there be light
Don't ask me why but I got the wild hair to add lighting to my CH 701. Actually I can now kind of legally fly after sunset adding another 30 to 40 minutes to my day before dark.
This is what happens when you run across a Strobe / Wig wag / Landing light kit for $39.00 at CRAZEDPILOT.COM...other good stuff there too!!!
Started with the basic kit installing the LED lights inside the leading edge of my slats...that looked sooo good I purchased four more LED white bullet LEDs and a red and green bullet LED.
To tell the truth I would now - in a do over - buy just the white bullet lights and use in place of the kit lights - I would just keep adding lights until I got the brightness I wanted - plus a much easier install. Check my blogs and video under Zenith.aero Forums
Mounted the wing tip "nav lights" on a piece of polished aluminum and put them on the wing tips. The inner lights were mounted on a piece white plastic pipe about six inches long mounted under the struts and are faced both fore and aft.
Cost: About $85.00 using parts from around the shop and sweat equity.
Left out how I made the mounts etal on purpose...be creative in your install!!!
Also great customer support - called a couple of times to ask about the product and was immediately taken care of.
