Note: You will need to supply your own switches. We do not supply nor recommend a specific type of switch. All you have to do is get 12V to the lights via switches in whatever way you see fit - could be 3 push buttons, 3 individual switches or 1 rotating (multi-position) switch in order to select each of the 3 modes as necessary.

Do not rely on these as your sole source of light after civil twilight as they do not meet the entire requirements of FAR 91.205 for night time operations on their own. Am planning on combining both units together for landing light, recognition and strobe. Size will enable to mount right below the spinner in lower cowl which will not disrupt the negative pressure airflow for cooling.
But it could be improved by adding proper wire terminal for the terminals on the control unit. Otherwise a great product! (CRAZED replies: Not sure what this customer means, but the terminals are a quality connection and never come loose!)
Not bad! Have not hooked these up to my experimental yet but I did run them on a 9 v battery outside at night and they were fairly bright on just 9 volt. I believe these should meet the claimed specs once installed and powered with the correct voltage and ampage . Should work great for forward anti collision lights. (CRAZEDpilot NOTE: DO NOT RUN THESE AT REDUCED POWER, please use 12v)

I suggest you add a switch to the combo so you can change the mode....
The control unit is easy to wire and provides the ability to have a single wing tip light do multiple functions.
I had a high voltage strobe system that failed and used the wig wag system to replace fit with LED's on a RV7.
This is a very compact package and the instructions make installation easy. I wish the wires from the led lights were longer. I had to splice mine to make it work.
