I installed it.. Testing with 30V input. Getting 12.06V output ... At the moment, I'm running 1A current through it for about 15minutes... No noticeable heat generated.
Bought to use on 11hp MTD riding mower as the rectifier burned up. So far is keep battery charged.
I have been looking for one of these for a while. Installed it and it did just what I wanted it to do. Now I can install permanent USB charging ports in the panel.
