First time use and had the metal part of conector attached to the câmera after disconnect the cable.

Worked as advertised. I used for audio on my Garmin VIRB. Had to change to external microphone in settings

worked perfect
I'm using this with a newer garmin virb elite with the latest software. I'm also using a stereo pm3000 intercom with Lightspeed Zulu headphones. Everything works perfectly. The audio level balance is good and during playback no artifacts are noted. Love it and I record every flight now. Even the audio music fidelity is pretty good!

Works very well
I purchased two of these and they work very well. Audio is very clear without any over driving of the mic circuit in the Garmin Virb cameras. I just ordered 15 more for our flight school.
